The American Marketing Association’s Collegiate Mentorship Program supports collegiate students in their journeys to become professionally competent marketers. Through this program, students will be matched with mentors that are experienced professionals in the Marketing field. This program provides the environment, advice and resources they need to pursue their career interest in marketing and advertising. With the support of the AMA Collegiate Communities team, Mentors and Student Mentees will participate in professional and personal development as well as foster their own Mentor/Mentee relationship over the course of one academic year – from October 2025 to April 2026.
Every mentorship relationship will be unique based on what the matched mentors/mentees want out of it, but this program provides an avenue for connection to someone who is currently in the field and is eager to share their experience and knowledge with the next generation of Marketing professionals.

Hear From Past Participants
“Participating in this program has been life-changing. My mentor is supportive and attentive, providing valuable advice on career opportunities in marketing and how I can make the most of my college experience. He was a great help in my job search and even connected me to an internship at 7-Eleven, where I was hired as a Fuels Pricing and Loyalty intern. I’m grateful for this experience and hope other students can benefit from it, too.”
-Gabriela Jodas Salgado
“With the invaluable guidance of my mentor, I navigated my internship journey with confidence. In just six months of being a mentee, I secured a position at the very company where I was a summer intern, Lancer Worldwide.”
